HAPPY NEW YEAR
Len Barker Bush Camp
Today the weather gods are smiling on us today in the Yorke Peninsula, 38 sunny and no wind. Just beautiful. The water is like glass, smooth and the perfect temperature.

I was working on the net for work so the kids were in the water from breakfast till dinner. Snorkelling, trying to catch fish (with their hands, hey it kept them entertained) and floating the the crystal clear water.
Yorke Peninsula – Fishing Failure LOL
Late in the afternoon I decided to try my hand at fishing, we that was a big failure, there was too much weed at the bottom and the lure kept on snagging, this became a bit of fun for the kids as it was still shallow enough for them to retrieve the lure.
Fishing rod put away and we all when for a explore in the water. We found a flat head and small bait fish. The highlight was a ray that was sitting on the sand in about knee deep water, Little Maarten was off snorkelling after the ray to see where it went.
We arrived late back at the van and started a Pork Roast in the weber, Overall it was a perfect down day in camp.
