Day 12: Goomeri to Home

Start: 0845am

We slept in this morning knowing we are not far from home. Today we are just cruising, it is like it is the march to the end and we really don’t want to get there but we do as well…. Home with our shower, our bed and space to not be in each other’s pockets, but also we will miss the uno championships, along with the cheating. And it is amazing how much the TV was not missed while we have been away.

We have rolled through Nanango and stopped at the peanut van and checked out the wood buildings, the toilets are very clean and it is a great stop point.

We pass through Yarraman, very disappointed there was supposed to be a Bacon factory, I couldn’t find it. I was really looking forward to that….. we pass Blackbutt and head down the range, this is a steep and winding road down, we head thru Kilcoy back to the Gateway Motorway.

We are on the wind down from our trip and nearly home. When Christian Pipes up from the back, Can we go past Redcliffe to the bounce water park before we head home? Why not… Finished: 1500
