Airlie Beach

So we made the decision to continue North on our family getaway and we head out towards Airlie Beach. Instead of taking the van into Airlie Beach we dropped the Aspire 617 off in Proserpine.

RV park Proserpine behind the Catholic Church

The RV park at Proserpine is a free camp in the middle of town. There is a beautiful park that the kids loved across the road and it is a great place to leave your van to explore the area.

We start off with the Coral Beach Walk. This is great leg stretcher to a bay area. The beach is shells and stones, so if like me you have a child who collects shells good luck LOL…..

Onto Airlie Beach, we drove around a few lookouts and it really is a beautiful place, the day we were there the weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t rain on us so happy days.

We arrive back in Proserpine and find the Avan Aspire 617 waiting for our return and know today is the day we need to head south again. Tomorrow will be a big drive day we would like to make it to the Gravel Pit outside Rockhampton.

Product Review

At the start of the trip we decided to review a new product. When we decide to offer a product we like to know it works, so this trip we have tested a wireless reverse camera.

The camera was mounted to the Aspire 617 rear bumper, the overall length is 7.7m and the screen was mounted in the front of our Holden Colorado which is approx. 5 m. We didn’t have the antenna up and the screen did not flicker or lose signal the whole trip.
